Privacy Policy
The short version
Your documents are processed entirely on your device. Files you add to any tool are read by your browser, processed in background threads, and written back to your downloads folder. At no point is a document uploaded, stored or viewed by us or any third party.
Documents and tool state
Nothing you process is transmitted anywhere. When you close or reload the page, the tool state — files, options, results — is discarded from memory by design. The only client-side storage we use beyond that: your theme preference and a small counter that paces the bookmark reminder, kept in your browser’s local storage; and a short-lived hand-off that carries one output file from one tool to the next inside your browser (IndexedDB, deleted on use and expiring after ten minutes). All of this stays on your device and you can clear it from your browser settings at any time.
Server logs
Like every website, the pages themselves are delivered from a CDN, and the hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs contain no information about your documents, because your documents are never sent to the server.
Cookies and advertising
Today the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Advertising keeps the tools free: when advertising is enabled in the future, it will be served through Google AdSense. Ads and any associated cookies will only load after you consent through the consent banner (Google’s Funding Choices), in line with the GDPR and ePrivacy rules that apply to visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. Outside those regions, where the law permits serving ads without consent, the ad code may load without a banner — the ad providers page names the vendor and what they collect.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the banner’s “Manage preferences” link. Declining ads never limits access to any tool.
Children
The site is a general-audience utility and does not direct itself to children under 13, nor does it knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights and changes
Because we do not collect personal data beyond standard server logs, there is little to export or delete — but if you have a question or a request about privacy, email us and we will answer.
If this policy changes materially, the revised date at the top of this page will change with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
