How to Delete Pages from a PDF

  1. Add your PDF

Drop the document onto the box above, click to browse, or paste it from your clipboard. It opens locally and every page appears as a thumbnail.

  2. Mark the pages to delete

Check the pages you want gone — they turn red as they’re marked, and the counter tells you exactly how many pages will be removed and how many survive.

  3. Preview before you commit

Tap any page for a full-size render. Blank scan backs, duplicated invoices, the wrong attachment: verify them at full size, not postage-stamp size.

  4. Click “Delete pages”

A new PDF is built on your device containing every unmarked page, in order. Your original file is untouched — deletion here means “give me a copy without these”.

  5. Download the trimmed PDF

One click saves the result. Kept pages are copied byte-for-byte — text stays selectable, scans keep their quality, nothing is re-compressed.

Why choose our delete pdf pages tool?

Point at what goes

Deleting is choosing in reverse, so the tool is built in reverse: you mark the pages to remove, and the count shows what remains. No mental subtraction at the range bar.

Delete one page or fifty

A single stray blank or a whole obsolete chapter — the operation is the same. Scattered pages are as easy as consecutive ones; every check is one click.

Safety in two layers

The preview shows you exactly what each marked page contains, and the original file is never modified. Even a total mis-click costs nothing but another run.

Private by construction

The trimming happens in your browser on a background worker thread. Financial statements, legal drafts, medical letters — nothing is uploaded, stored, or seen by a server.

Reorder what stays

The kept pages keep their on-screen order — drag them while you’re here and the output follows. Trim and tidy in a single pass.

Free, unlimited, no watermark

No sign-up, no daily cap, no branding stamped on your output. The page count doesn’t matter; the price stays zero.

Tips for delete pdf pages

  • Deleting several scattered pages goes faster with “Select all”, then unchecking the few you want to keep.
  • Removing the blank backs of scanned sheets? They cluster at the end of each sheet — preview once, then mark them in a sweep.
  • After a big deletion, run Compress PDF: fewer pages often mean the file can shrink further.
  • Deleting the LAST page of many scanned documents also removes a trailing blank most scanners add.
  • Encrypted files must be unlocked first — the browser cannot copy pages it cannot read.

delete pdf pages — Frequently asked questions

How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Add the file, check the pages you want removed in the thumbnail grid, and click Delete. A new PDF is assembled without the marked pages; your original stays untouched.

Is my original file modified?

No. The tool never writes to your source. “Deleting” produces a new document without the marked pages — the original remains exactly as it was on your device.

Can I delete multiple pages at once?

Yes — check as many as you like, consecutive or scattered. The counter tracks how many pages will be removed and how many will remain before you run anything.

Can I delete every page?

The run button stays disabled until at least one page survives — a PDF with zero pages is not a document anyone wants to download.

Does deleting pages reduce file size?

Usually, roughly in proportion to the content removed. Pages heavy with images shrink the file most; text-only pages shrink it least. For maximum reduction, follow up with Compress PDF.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

Never. Everything runs locally in your browser via a Web Worker. You can delete pages with your network disconnected — try it.
